HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Forum members,
I've thoroughly enjoyed my year or so as a member. When you can draw together avid golfers, avid scientists, avid golfing scientists and avid scientific golfers into one big happy;) family, then that alone is worth it's weight in gold. Thankyou to everybody for making this forum THE best by a country mile.
Happy holidays to all and here's to a prosperous 2012.

Yes definitely happy Holidays to all here. But if I learn as much next year as I did this year my head my just explode. Guess I have something to hope for.

Nice one OLI! There are few forums which don't descend quickly into silly insult during a conversation and I would reiterate OLI's comments about this being a great , if not the best golf forum on the net. And that is down to those who write here. Whether it be asking questions, expressing opinions, agreeing or disagreeing, having a bit of banter or as sometimes the case with our infamous SteveT, just winding folks up with a bit of close-to-the bone humour.

Let's pledge to keep the forum a place where our golfing knowledge moves on whilst maintaining open-mindedness and respect for others.

Enjoy the festive season and spare a thought, or a dollar, for those who may be less fortunate than ourselves.

Happy and Safe Christmas & Prosperous New Year to all here. Time to forgive but also to ask for forgiving.

Cheers

Well said Wulsy - especially the last sentence God bless us, everyone. ( C'mon, you knew there would be a Tiny Tim moment in here somewhere! )

If possible, I would like to request another "Night Before..." poem from Brian again this year. I loved last year's.

Merry Christmas everybody. I wish all of you and yours nothing but the best.

This is the best golf forum in the world for many reasons and at the top of the list is Mr. Manzella. Thanks B-Man. The membership here does an outstanding job being civil, but as we go forward I challenge everyone to always be respectful of everybody else even if you know you are right and they are full of "stuff" ;). We owe it to the other members and Brian himself. It will help elevate the forum to even higher levels.

God bless everyone!

Merry Chrismas to everyone! Make sure you are all EXTRA nice and do something EXTRA special for your significant others:rolleyes: I know mine puts up with ALOT do to my golf habit...lol

May be a fun 2012 for a lot of reasons. I might get the chance to play with my oldest son. Up until this point, he has taken enough interest to come and whack a few balls and get one out to about the 100 yd carry mark (he's 7). Tonite, I'm watching a rerun of Doral and say to him, "Hey, look at this swing. Watch it, it's a good one". I was speaking of Kuchar. My kid says while taking an air swing, "This is how how a swing is suppose to look, that one is too flat"

Maybe he's been paying more attention than I thought. I should go out and get one more present before Sunday......updated clubs!

Can I get him to take a look at a few of my swings? He may be a teaching savant. :)

Ain't it the truth! My wife, every year, asks me what I want. Every year I tell her, "I play golf, and when I need something golf related, you have no problem with me getting it. I don't need, nor could I, ask for more than that." This is my 2nd my wife, and I told her when we met that I play golf every Sunday, and that's not going to change. We have been married 5 years, and other then rare special occasions, she has never asked me to not play. I got very lucky with this one - you can't take a good woman for granted! I am taking good care of her this Christmas!
