Head Movement during Downstroke.

During the downswing my head falls back and down and I swing under plane, inside out. Any suggestions / drills for keeping a steady head. I've been hitting balls with a straw in my mouth to monitor head movement with the eyes so I can LOOK, LOOK, LOOK!

You are seeking the correct position.

Lots of TOUR STARS do the same becuase of bad advice from teachers who just don't get it.

THE NECK SHOULD BE PARALLEL TO THE GROUND AT IMPACT!!!!

If you look STRAIGHT at the ball...out of your eye sockets....and bend the back correctly....that's where your head (and neck) will be.

Your head is moving up and down(looking down it should be parallel) , not side to side. I am pretty sure I thought the same as you when I first read Brians post(bend your neck to the right to pararrel) and I thought man that would be awkward :)))

Still not clear to me. I thought Brian meant to say "vertical." Maybe he means the top of head should be parallel to ground?
