hi, all. i found this site a couple of wks ago and my ball striking has improved greatly. also ordered TGM as well! Brian, your articles and pictures are great. thanks.

question: i've always been err-ing toward the heel (i always look at my clubface after contact) with all my clubs on full swings. always 'fraid of that s(*&%k! now with the correct take away as Brian has shown, it's all good. however, my bump and runs and chips around the green, i'm err-ing towards the toe (really close to the edge!). i just noticed it was really bad when i british open-ed a 30yd bump and run and it was really weak due to the toe shot.

any suggestions why my full swings are dead center, sometimes toward the heel (very slightly now) and less than half swings are toe-ish?

thanks.
sjw.

The more you swing LEFT the more you will tend to hit it on the TOE.

The more you swing RIGHT the more you will tend to hit it on the heel.

thanks.
so you are saying that if my backswing is on plane, then my follow-thru (post impact) is either above plane (right) or under plane (left)?
