Please excuse our dust while we upgrade our site.

This new forum section will have multiple current "qualifying" posts added every day.

As we make our upgrades and streamline the whole site with several new features, upgraded software and new video content, we will continue to answer your golfing questions with the best staff and best information in the golf business.

Here are the web forum rules:

Ask any question about golf that you wish.

Will we shortly have a section for "General Golf Discussions," & "Equipment" as well as this section on the golf swing.

Myself and my peerless staff of Teaching Professionals, will do our very best to answer your posts promptly.

This forum has many knowledgable members, several of whom are teaching professionals, with many of those decorated award winners. They can—and will—help you as well.

There is to be no mention of any other site or instructor on this forum. This forum is STRICTLY to give the golfers and golf instructors of the world a place to visit, ask questions, learn from myself and my staff and each other.

No advertising of other sites, schools, academies or instructors are allowed.

If you need to ask a question and refer to any of the above, please use the phrase: "Somewhere else."

As in, "I read somewhere else, I was told somewhere else" (instead of I took a lesson somewhere else), etc.

Thanks for making this site the most visited Instructor's golf forum on the web, as well as the one with the most members.

Happy Posting!

:)

For those of you who may wonder, we haven't done anything wrong and we are not required to make these changes. But there are only so many hours in the day and we have decided that the best way to accomplish our goal is to focus all of our efforts on what is truly important -- helping you become better golfers!

On several ocasions in the past, I have attempted to take the forum in the direction of Answers and Discussion of those Answers.

Back on 10/6/06, I said this:

"Tonight, this forum takes a needed turn AWAY from HEATED debate, and toward more content and better education for our loyal members and any new ones.

Amazingly, this site has several "Top 100" teachers who visit every day (with no problems), and just soak up the sun, so to speak, and they are very welcomed to do just that...

...I'll try my best to make everyone's time spent on the best and biggest site of its kind on the web—

Worth every minute."

I really mean that, I can't say it any better today. But, it just took some time to figure out how to do it.

Thanks folks.

Intent.

Brian, here is a quote from your "Hello Folks" topic. ;)
"There is to be no mention of any other site or instructor on this forum. This forum is STRICTLY to give the golfers and golf instructors of the world a place to visit, ask questions, learn from myself and my staff and each other."

The intent of the changes were quite simple:

No advertising, no "ballot stuffing," no leading questions.

Teachers and Golfers in the "Public Domain" like Jack Nicklaus, Bobby Jones, Ernest Jones, Jimmy Ballard, Hank Haney etc. can hardly not be mentioned when having conversations on golf and golf instruction.

Web Forums are funny places. So is the Golf Instruction Business.

When I travel to do our popular "Manzella Tour Stops," the biggest challenge is always finding a location to hold them.

These locations almost always have staff pros, and finding one with a professional who doesn't mind having someone "from the outside" at their facility, takes a few calls.

Without any doubt, the pros who welcome us are very nice people without an ax to grind, and are happy to share ideas about teaching making it a win-win.

Internet sites are no different, and in the next few years, you won't believe some of the crazy stuff you'll see.

We have passed through that phase and are moving to the next one.

We have a BIG, BIG "thing" coming that will load this site with new—eager to learn about what we have to offer—golfers.

We are just getting prepared for the new folks, who just want to learn and ask questions, not proselytize.

Thanks,

Brian Manzella, PGA, G.S.E.D.
