I'm received so much good information from this site and Brian's videos, but I think I need some specifics of what I should be working on. I'm an 8 handicap who just shot 81,82,90 in a club tournament this weekend. The swing did not hold up very well to pressure. Any help or advice would be appreciated. FO and DL videos with and iron below

Very frustrated

bh3,

Have you tried a lagging clubhead takeaway?
Looks like you could get the right shoulder and hands deeper if you gave the lower body a head start with a LCT.

You are no hacker, my friend. Perhaps your problems are a lack of confidence. Go out there and BELIEVE that you can beat everyone in your flight.

I always get a kick out of saying "the swing" didnt hold up under pressure. Its the golfer who doesnt hold up under pressure.

Anyway, nice move. I agree with the other suggestions. Early turn and hand path is where id start to help get the club out from under the hands.

Thanks for the input, I'll give the lagging clubhead takeaway a try. Kevin, by hand path do you mean a more inside takeaway like the one taught in Soft Draw? And what do you mean by "get the club out from under the hands"?

LCT and float loading

I've had a few practice sessions working on LCT and float loading. I feel as though my wrists are flopping all over the place. Seems totally contradictary to the earlier work I did maintaining a bent right wrist and FLW. It seems if I setup and pivot properly good shots just happen. Thanks for the advice guys.

bh3,

For me, adopting more of a LCT forced me into the sequence of hips, hands and clubhead. It amplified the one after the other sequnce of it all.
