Help! No Divots

Hi,

I'm strugling with my short irons. I hit the PW well (straight and about 115 yds) but I seldom leave a divot, and I think I'm supposed too. I think my wrist position at contact is adding loft to my shot because it is higher than what I see others hit with the similarly lofted clubs. The end result is great because when it lands it doesn't go far, and the distances are consistent. But I do believe there's a swing flaw there that's affecting the other wedges.

My 60* & 55* wedges I don't hit consistently at all. No divots, and a lot of topping and hitting it thin.

Am I supposed to leave a divot for all irons? I don't leave them for any irons and I hit all of them higher than normal.

Thanks,

BBleous

Do this drill:

Brian Manzella's Divot Wall Drill:

Set-up.

Make a divot.

Put the club back at address where it was for the first swing.

Make a second divot THAT STARTS where the last one ended.

REPEAT.

REPEAT.

REPEAT.

Rules: You head can NOT move forward and the divot 'channel' can not curve left.
