help with irons

My problem is with my irons i hit them all stright thake divot's that start stright and move to the left the problem is i can not get any distance. The best shot for me is only 140 yards with a 4 iron. Higher clubs produce even less yardage.

I only have one eye, and that is my left eye. I am a right hand golfer with no problem with driver or fairway woods. I've got the flipper video and nsa video although I never was a slicer. I just thought the nsa video would help me fix the irons.

Any help would be great you guys on this fourm have helped many golfers I hope someone here can help. Thank you.

If you make a perfectly on plane, straight plane line swing, your divot would be like you say your are.

So your path may be decent.

But, without knowing the details, except you have watched Flipper and Never Slice Again, and you still are a poor iron player, here is my best guess:

You have Pivot problems, and your arms do not swing from the sockets. You kind of shove the ball forward.

When you miss a shot left or right, does it go the same distance?

Do you hit it high or low?

What kind of clubs do you have?

Have you ever checked your lie angles?
