hinging actions

trying to understand hinging actions on backswiing i think i understand them through the ball, but what would the look like halfway back if i was looking at them from my view as im swinging. or what is i good checkpoint in the backswing to see each hinging action

No such thing as hinge actions on the backswing, but there are all sorts of different hand conditions....

But...I know what you mean.

Most golfers who cup the heck out of it need to open it less as the club swings away. A more accomplished golfer would roll it 45 to first parallel.
