HIp Motions impact on ball flight

Can someone speak to hip motions impact on ball flight. My understanding is there are two basic hip motions, rotational(swingers motion) and lateral (hitters motion). How do these hip motions relate to hinge action. Meaning, if I have a rotational hip action with an angled hinge, typically would that not result in a fade or possibly even a block ball flight??

looking for some enlightenment here...

Thanks

i just searched and found this thread from way back, it seemed to beg the exact question i was thinking about:

do you think it's true that someone that tends to slide too much with the hips (the right hip especially) and not clear fully will tend to block the ball right?

i'm thinking if someone slides too much and doesn't turn enough, that will lend to both a too much in-to-out swing path and an open clubface. this is assuming he is pretty relaxed and not rushing with his hands and arms. also might cause some fat shots.

anybody have any experience on this one?
