does he do it, today at the PGA on #2 529yd par five, he hits driver easy wedge, #12 593yd par five, he hits driver 8 iron, and on #14 he hits his driver 401 yds. Brian's buddy, Rick Smith was with Dimarco and saw all 18 holes of it.
 
I think it's his lack of backswing and wrist hinge that truly surprises me.

I understand the concept of power he uses, it's just really cool to watch it. I watched a 'Playing Lessons with the Pro's' where he was with his instructor talking about driving. He actually said by hinging his wrists, it screws him up, and he loses distance. Amazing.

Quite a hip move he got though. But yea, how does he do it? I wish I knew... even if I just had his distance I could _easily_ shave 5 strokes a round off my game... even from the bushes.

he is physically strong. i would bet he could put up some very respectable weight in all the standard compound exercises. strength may not always equal distance in golf, but it does if you know how to use it.
