When Brian says you're 1 million times likely NOT to flip it when you hit the ball with your pivot he means it. I thought I was using my pivot until last night. It all started 4 days ago when I was NAILING shots in my garage. Didn't know what I was doing but it was amazing. Bad thing was I couldn't reproduce those shots again until last night. What helped my coconut was I watched Mike Jacobs Explosive Golf (not trying to take business away from Brian, I have ALL of his videos. But this is a great video which I bought for like 8 bucks shipped) and he mentioned that to make the club go 100 mph, your body only has to go 2 mph. So I gave this a try and I'm finally walloping the ball with my pivot. Not using my hands at all, they are just going along for the ride. Nailing shots with hardly any effort and perfect balance. WALLUP THE BALL WITH YOUR PIVOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS I also started using a 1 piece takeaway.

U have a net in your garage I guess?

Hands go along for the ride I guess would sum it up eh. Learn to not USE em. Just monitor em.

Bash something with a towel, as per "Confessions/Flipper."

...

Ya figure out what you're doing while you're doing it well.....attach feels AND inspect alignments.

I think slowly I am learning how to do this too...started with swinging left hand only, don't have enough strength in arms to use them for power, has to be the pivot...gets a real feel of dragging the clubhead through impact.

Every time I really concentrate on the pivot, I seem to get off plane, and more OTT. When I concentrate on plane, I seem to be quitting at the ball and not finishing.

The right shoulder video really helped, but when you are taking the right shoulder straight to the ball, should you feel like the shoulder motion is going through the ball and "into the ground" on that same plane?
Im looking for a feeling that will get me to get the plane AND pivot involved.
