How to fix my clubface

Hit balls for the first time of the season here in MA. After listening to BM over the years, it finally sunk in that I really need to figure out how to fix my clubface. Here's the deal: my ball flight, esp. my irons is a weak cut (driver too). Ball starts at target/right of target and slices. Divots point left of target. I have a flw at the top. However, when i came down in slow motion there is no release into the ball and the angle that I had at the top is the same at impact - open LW and open clubface. (A little more open than this mark / )
I assume my divots are left of target becuae I am coming over in an effort to square it up.
I happened to see this swing of Hogan yesterday:

I tried to get my wrist into this position but started pulling the ball. My guess is the pull was a result of the same swing path I had in ingrained trying to straighten out the slice. Ball flight and power was better though.

With the beginning of the season here I would really like to get off to a good start and I think fixing my clubface is the best place to start.
Any advice?

Sorry for the delay...

You need more Axis Tilt and you need to work on "swinging under the stick."

Also, you may need a more level shoulder turn. How is it going?

Unfortunately we got 8in of snow so progress slowed. When you say a more level shoulder turn do you mean downswing or backswing?

Was I on the riught track with my thoughts on clubface open and path OTT to correct the open face?
Thansk for the response.
