My guess is that he uses an extremely weak l.h. grip because of a tremendously active hinging into the ball. Were he not to use that (see the other photos- esp. the one with left hand alone setting the distance..) he would prolly hook the ball into Texas.

It's horizontal hinging. It's not any more or less active than anything else. He is simply using a horizontal hinge action. The neutral grip provides stability in that no other compensations must be made.

CHIII was taught as a youngster by GSEM George Kelnhofer, then CHIII's parents stupidly decided he needed Leadbetter to take him to the next level. I wonder if he will ever come back to his roots.

I dunno what's wrong with the dood......his swing is great.....although his best year ballstriking wise was 2001....before the de-lagging (although he doesn't look de-lagged here really lol)......dunnno what happened....

Tournament level golf and the precision necessary to beat thousands of others at incredibly subtle adjustments, alignments, differences in exertion, and mental strength and focus is FAR more than great golf swing. Far more.

The media never covers "the others." I had a friend who participated in swimming in the Olympics whose COUNTRY was not even mentioned in the broadcasts... When do you see other golf swings being shown if Tiger and Phil and ...... are playing, despite their two or three stroke differences, sometimes coming from behind with spectacular shots.

Media are driven by the celebrity syndrome. 15 minutes of fame...

PI...

Charlie is a pretty bad putter too it seems.....prolly needs to get his nerves and head straightened out....

At pic 8, I hate how the narrative says this, which we see often:
As the wrists unhinge and the left arm and shaft swing into a straight line through impact...

Are they expecting the right wrist to be doing much...like uncocking? It ain't.
