Hi,

Could any of the Manzella teachers please provide a few ideas on how to not tug?

For the the rest of you that have personal experiences please chime in.

Need Help, it's going left!!!

Lift your left heel on the backswing to get more hip turn. Make your hand path go away from the target as your left heel hits the ground in the first move down.

I've done what Kevin said with success. Another feel I've used is a feeling of from the top pushing my right hand and arm straight to my right foot without turning my body until waist high. One more is a feeling of getting to the top and just letting the arms drop to waist high without moving the body, then engage the turn. Similar results but a different way of getting there. With both I also do a lot of this drill:

Also, there was a video of a drill that Alex Noren was doing that was on youtube but it seems to be gone now which was similar.

These for me are really just drills to get as far away from turning my shoulders as my first move from the top and shooting my hands out toward the target line.

Played well doing this the other day, however I s*&$ked a few. Any ideas?

Sounds like you lead with the hosel, maybe a little twist on the way down to get the sweetspot out to the ball? That's what I feel like I'm doing when I actively push my right hand straight down.
