Ok guys, I'm reasonably old, 53. I believe my pivot is not great. I've read Brian's posts that point out many of his students are long, because they have great pivots. How do I learn to make a great pivot?

Can you help?

Watch and study Brian's You tube episodes especially, 1 - 2 - 3 (the info is very valuable)

Learn and practice the back hand concept he utilizes when he is discussing training the pivot

Make sure you focus on your setup as well.

I was striking the ball well (sans the driver) and then lost it. Last night, couldn't hit a 5 iron to save my life. I know I was trying to pivot properly and it just didn't feel right.

All I did was move my feet back slightly more under my body. My hands, shoulders, etc.. basically stayed in the same place.

The pivot felt perfect and the ball flight was beautiful and accurate.

So, study everything you can about the pivot, but...don't forget to do the same about your set up.
