Impact

While looking at video of my swing, I noticed that I come over the top much more than I would have ever thought. In order to compensate, my shaft angle at impact is much steeper than the one at adress. I really would love this problem rectified.

Is there anybody out there with a simple way to stop doing this?

Thanks

Do you have "Never Slice Again". Also, might want to look at Brian's pivot articles, and right shoulder downplane explanations. These will help you get to the inside of the ball!!

Thanks guys, not that I wouldn't support Brian, or the site, but does anybody have a swing thought or two to help alleviate the problem?

Do you typically pull the ball? If so, the "underhanded javelin throw" may help.

If you have trouble getting to the inside of the ball, try the "crossing guard stripe" drill for your pivot.

I'm starting to get the feeling this is going to take more than a range session to fix...

Where do you live? It would definitely be worth an hour or two with Brian or Mike Jacobs. If you aren't in a location to meet them, I am sure either would be happy to recommend someone.

If you are playing on your college golf team, the value way exceeds the cost!

All the way up in Buffalo. Winter is only a couple months away. This usually benefits me as it is a good time to make changes without worrying about where the ball goes.
