Has anyone come up with either a device or any drills to help ingrain an on-plane backswing?

Honestly, none of my friends know what they are looking at, and can't really monitor for me as I practice.

Have you tried laser lights and a plane board....the lights have really helped me...I still would like to combine them with a plane board to lay the entire shaft on plane.

A bent right wrist using pp#1 pushing against the left thumb muscle. Then either extensor action or right forearm pick up. You get the feeling your thumbs will be going toward your right shoulder.

Leek, have you tried entering "golf swing trainer" into Google...there's loads of them....:D

Flammer has been around a while (and you can hit balls with it)...(search "golf Flammer" in Google)..

I read something by Ben Doyle on this and he recommended the right arm acting as if it is pulling the rope on a lawn mower, right from the takeaway. I will try it with a mirror.

Standing upright with the arms and club extended straight in front of the body and parallel to the ground.

Rotate the shoulders and make sure the club remain parallel to the ground all the time.

Make no change except bending over gradually from thte waist to tilt the plane.

That won't do it. Too low.

Show your underarms.

I did a BAM! video on this once...

Anyhoo, you can't just extensor action and right forearm your way to a REAL TSP, YOU NEED LIFT.
