Instruction Videos?

Brian(or anyone else) do you have an instruction video out. Also, how does you theories/instruction compare to John Dunigan? Is his video worth taking a look at? (my swing plane is horrible...saw it for the first time on my new digital camera). Thanks

I think Brian is getting a video out by Christmas. He recommends Ben Doyles tape from www.bendoylegolf.com

I recommend the Whippy TempoMaster from www.tempomaster.com
With the club, you get a video and a book. The inventor isn't a pro (decent player...I think he shoots around par), but his theories are sound and based basically on Jimmy Ballard's "connection" and Hogan's book.

I have Dunigans books and tape and thing they are GREAT for understanding the swing plane. Some of his images and drills are very helpful. Good luck.

Considering the average golfer doesn't break 100, not to mention 90, I would say shooting around par isn't only decent, but incredible. Fact is most PGA Tour players shoot "around par". What is the Tour's scoring average? Bet it's right around 72.

Breaking 80 puts you where? Not sure about the exact number, but something like the best 10% of all golfers I think. If you play golf occasionally and have another career (the Whippy inventor is a doctor), then shooting around par is great. If you think Tiger Woods is the "average golfer", you are quite off base. Do you even understand what "decent" means? What must you do, in your opinion, to be decent? Shoot 65? Wouldn't that put you at expert? Calling a scratch player "decent" is actually quite an understatement.

Also, several pros use the Whippy training aid. I know Vijay for sure and the inventor e-mailed me a list of 5 or 6 long drive competitors who do. I wish I still had it, but I deleted it. All of them bought thier own club as well, it wasn't given to them. Vijay has an entire set.

No actually a lot of tour pro's shoot par on courses that are at least three times harder - the diference between a player that shoots par and a touring professional is at least -5 shots, and that would be -10 for Tiger when was winning the grand slam.

The difference between a player shooting par and a touring pro is the same between a 20 handicap and a par player....

Just as usual benhogan54 (is 54 your age you old git), is wrong.... go join the club with martee.... Perhaps you can discuss the finer points of 'when I was a boy I could hit it 300 yards', whilst you remember the good old days of that 100 yard drive thats gotten bigger and bigger over the years....

First off Eminem, I used 54 because that is 18 under par on a par 72 golf course. That would be a birdie on every hole. As for my age, I'm 18 years old. The fact that you thought I was 54 years old and insulted it before you even knew shows how stupid you are.

If that is what 300 was saying, then I apologize. It didn't come across that way when I read it, but sometimes it is difficult to use sarcasm over the internet.

Furthermore Eminem, you calling the Whippy TempoMaster a gimmick again shows your ignorance. Homer Kelley used "rope swinging" to demonstrate how a swinger would move the golf club. Essentially, that is what the Whippy TempoMaster is. You are so lame.

As Dr_J was pointed out, I was refering to your statement of the whippy inventor being a decent player in shooting around par. Hey, you are right though about the sarcasm, its way too much.
