Interesting use (or lack of use) of Tumble and Gamma twist.

It IS interesting so I'm going to take a stab. Daly's strong grip and steep downswing (I don't see any shaft lay down in transition) allow him to use minimal torque and gamma twist. I still think he must use some and I am basing this entirely on what I have learned here.
I have been wrong before however. Heck, I never thought Micky Rooney would get married.

I may be wrong but from my reading of Sasho MacKenzie's work shaft lay down decreases the amount of force required to square the clubface.

Also could the flattening of his extremely cupped left wrist on the way down cause a shaft laydown? Hard to tell without 3D, admittedly.

notice the angle between his left arm and the club shaft at impact (also the wrist)
is this what's termed a "cone swing" or "cone swipe"

ok, so what I see is a longer than average reverse tumble going well into the downswing, and a last minute positive tumble before impact.
