Is NHA a slight fade pattern?

K thanks. I just finished watching it.

I used to swing pretty much like this and hit mostly straight with the irons, with my misses being slight pull fades that ended up perfect anyway. Had the most control over the golf ball I've ever had. I eventually went back to trying to draw the ball with the driver because I started having problems. Are there any adjustments I need to make for the driver, as far as alignments, etc. with this pattern?

Are there any mods you find yourself making most commonly Jim?

Eliminate the carry and practice a lot of timing the drop before you rotate. The carry is an essential part of NHA because it is what gets you the out/in path so that you can hit the fade. Essentially you need to eliminate the carry and practice dropping the club straight DOWN the wall (just like you went up the wall in the backswing) WHILE ALSO not lagging the hosel.

It sounds complicated but it really isn't. I recently played golf for the 2nd time all year with a friend of mine and i couldn't hit it out of my shadow; swing was garbage and friend said didn't look very natural. My "straight-ish" version of NHA (which is nothing more than a very straight ball with a slide cut to it) said once i switched to that pattern (which is my safety) pattern everything looked smoother and more natural. It's because i really have to focus on timing the drop and the rotate or else it's a dead pull.

Biggest things to watch out for is to make sure you don't take it outside on the takeaway, remember UP the wall don't bust through the wall. Also don't over-rotate the left arm wedge. Then just practice dropping the arms enough to still be able to hit the ball from the inside and then rotate as hard as you want, i promise it won't go left.
