Is this a legitimate pivot aid?

How about this one for $19? While I'm not a fan, I've tried this model and you can certainly feel when you straighten your leg.

I haven't tried the "lock and load," but it looks a little cumbersome. They have definitely spent some time engineering the thing. The rod would make you aware if your forward knee collapses too much?

The one you posted I wonder if it could easily be reversed. I fight the drop slide with my left hip and these aids interest me a little bit.

Put a ball between your knees. I've seen some guys use basketballs, but a kids ball is lighter, cheaper and more comptressable. You'll keep some structure in your knees on the backswing. Let it drop down (knees separating, squating) in transition and roll away...

How about the hitting from your knees drill? Helpful for this?
