Is this a Twist Away?

Firstly bear with me as Im new to TGM. Indeed I wished id found this stuff 5 years ago:p

Having beena mid hccpper fotr years I have spent the ;ast 6 months on the range hitting balls to try and groove a more consistent swing. I have a developed a swing where I feel as if my backswing movement is driven purely by my wrists. The feeling I have is that my wrists bend back with the front left wrist flattening and the right cupping. I simply bend the wrists back and allow this motion to control my pivot. The hands work behind me and up. I have no shoulder turn or arm lift. The club seems quite deep at 3/4 back and I end up with quite a flat swing in that my left arm is lower than my shoulder, indeed its somewhere between the upper chest and shoulder

From here I just hit hard with my right hand, like driving my right palm down into the ball. Feel very handsy from the top, like I have quicker hands than body

Questions I have are is this takeaway move what you guys would call the Twist Away? I was labouring under the impression I had found a bad swing which just got me round (I hit the ball pretty long, struggle with a pull) but after reading Brians artcile on Never slicing ( I never slice with this method:) ) then I thinking now I maybe on the right lines? I also see you guys mention Twist Away along with impact fix and Brians grip? Where can I go find articles on those to experiment?

Welcome!

The TWISTAWAY is a little move that, more than just a BENT RIGHT WRIST/FLAT LEFT WRIST, and extensor action (The right arm stretching the left), is really just the right hand TWISTING the back of the left hand—and as a result, the CLUBFACE—away from the golfer.

I have a new video coming out—NEVER SLICE AGAIN 2.0—that will explain this from every angle and makes it very, very clear.

It will be out soon.

Tks Brian

So would there be an issue in feeling like both wrists are bending away together rather than just feeling as if its the right leading the left?

I have found that if I concentrate on just the right hand I have a tendecny to occasionally roll the lead hand and hit pushes/blocks. I seem to hit it much better when the back of the lead hand stays square for longer (i.e flattens but doesnt rotate). Much like the picture you have in the never slice again article. Is there a simplye way (grip?) to ensure you can lead this action with the right hand and get extensor action without rolling the lead hand/arm ?

Also, will your video be available for download after purchase ? Or will it be a postal job?

Tks again
