Is this float loading?

After playing well this weekend I was thinking about some of the shots I had hit.

I played in about a 40mph wind at Hoylake yesterday and hit a lot of "stinger" type shots. For this I felt there was a buch of forward lean at impact. Hit some great ones, hit some fat smelly ones too.....

I was doing this at the range tonight (off to Deal for more links golf this weekend) and hit a few with a Pure Ball Striker attached (just got one)

All of a sudden I felt my right wrist bend back and "set" as I started down putting pressure on the PBS.

I then did this with a Tic Tac wrist on my right wrist and sure enough on my half swing "stinger" the Tic Tac clicked as my right wrist bent back as I started down.

I am still learning with regard the swing/TGM etc etc but this felt to me what "float loading" would be

I then hit a few full shots not letting the right wrist "click" happen until waist high and the left hand "cocking" and right wrist bending back (and cocking a bit as well  )

This swings seem to feel like they had a beautiful rhythm to them....

Feeling like a mix of Payne Stewart and Colin Montgomerie....

Anyone care to let me know what I was feeling in TGM terms...

Brian, is there any danger in me swinging like this?

It felt very "natural" is the only way I could describe it...

I could hold on to the right wrist "click" much better through impact and felt much more cleared through impact (although my deliberate slice with driver and 9 iron in belt is also going well)

I just wondered what you guys thought of this........

It would obviously be good to post video but I was at range on my own with no camera....

Sounds alot like float loading. On film it will look like the clubhead drops almost vertically from the face on view at the start of the downswing or if doesn't drop it may appear static as opposed to moving too much away from the target.

For those of you who didn't know what our favourite dentist was referring to when he mentioned his Tic Tac, let me save you Googling it:

Wrist Tic Tac
