You'll never hear me taking about the slot.
'Cause there is no one slot for every pattern.
The one you are demonstrating is sort of the downstroke of a "Double-Shift."The double shift is a shift from the elbow plane on the backswing, up to the turned shoulder plane at the top, and back to the elbow plane before impact. You are also doing "what you are doing," with a very down and back Right Shoulder.
THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT MANZELLA-ISM:So....where does the ball go when you "try" to do it?
If you are trying to do something, and you can pose it, but can't do it during a "real" swing, it is because you hit it worse when you do.

when i try do this the ball goes right
Dear Brian,
If I can pose it but can't do it at full speed does that just mean that my old compensations are still present? Should I keep doing it right until I no longer miss it? Just curious.
