I loved the segment with Jimmy Ballard and Rocco Mediate on the golf channel. One of the best golf instructors of all time.
Kelly looked very good also.

Other than your feelings, what concepts that Ballard put forth do you
find valuable?

The connection concept has really helped me and the push off of the right foot up through the right side to start the downswing.

The center of the chest concept has helped me move the arms in the correct way for me.

i know the science and physics brian is trying to create, hopefully Brian can get a doctor that tells us it's would be ok for our body to handle

there were 2 men

Ben and Brian....................Brian asked Ben if you wanted to use the easiest system for a beginner

what would you use? Ben replied Ballards!!! i hope i got close on the exchange

Jen i respect all peoples thoughts....but if i may.........you said Brian may not like it??

i respectfully disagree...........Brian likes what WORKS for the individual..........soft draw? nha? nsa?.he knows

when i have my lesson with Brian...he will give me what works for ME.....The nice thing about Lisa's husband

is that I might have a soft draw setup...and nsa takeaway....an nha downswing etc etc

might have part of ballard..i don't know.............I do know with Brian...at least its about ME

Not saying anything bad, because I do this when and if my back hurts, but if you use this like was stated and do not axis tilt, you better aim right.

Hips under seems like a way to lock em, not use them. And Hogan said rotate the left elbow not keep it pointed down.

Standing tall to hit down and no divot seems contrary to the famous sit down move employed by a lot of great players.

But can't argue with Strange winning the open twice while taught by Ballard. major cred in my mind.

Elbows down is a simple way to get the club back. Its not that the elbows don't rotate, they have to if they are to point downwards. I believe Percy Boomer wrote about standing tall to hit down before Ballard. And yes, can't argue with Strange. His swing didn't look very powerful but it looked simple imho.

I thought he did a great job presenting and certainly Rocco was a perfect promoter, but did anybody notice how posture was presented by Ballard and it was not consistent with the forward hip tilt that Rocco uses. Again, most of these methods are more feels than anything, IMO.
