It simply doesn't get any better than this Augusta Gazette photo of Long John Daly catching a quick smoke while hitting balls on the Augusta National driving range before his first round Thursday at The 2006 Masters Tournament.

Did you mean the...

Squared shoulder plane, poor extensor action and rotated backstroke shoulder turn ( at least Homer would have liked this component)

Maybe the gut, cigs and attitude are the hitherto unmentioned 25th, 26th and 27th components of the 8th edition!!!

I bet Homer would have loved John's pattern! One of the 3-4 gazzillion versions which give good impact alignmements!

In fact his right hand grip has always seemed to me to be a real PP3 sensing device...

What about the clubface?

Where it is? (lol behind his frAkin back)...or how it is? (seems a smidge open, no?).

It looks pretty perfect to me. Maybe that's one of the reasons he is so good even with that huge backswing.

Ouch, and to think nothing of it as a perfessional golfer. Give's a new name to conditioning.
