Anyone have any footage or pics from Miller in 1974? Amazed at what he did in '74. More specifically, the Tucson Open as he said he hit the hole or flagstick 10 times that week.

I just watched the Shell's Wonderful World of Golf match with Miller versus Nicklaus at Olympic Club. He hit the hole 10 times that day as well.

From 2 feet.

Hey, that's awesome, where'd you get that one from? I've only got 2 from off Amazon, Hogan vs. Snead, and Snead vs. Nicklaus. I've been looking for more but have only seen them on VHS.

Can't talk about Miller without mentioning Oakmont in 73. Nobody ever hit it as good before or since. Shot 63, (on a day the field averaged 75 and only 4 guys broke 70) hit 18 greens in regulation, (none even near the edge) made 9 birdies (!); started with four in a row-5 feet on 1; 6 inches on 2; 3 inches on 4...a 100 yard sand wedge that hung on the lip on 4 for an eagle, and MISSED 4 times inside 12 feet- one of them a three-putt at 8. He hit it inside 5 feet on 5 holes, and inside 15 feet on 10 holes. AT OAKMONT. IN THE OPEN. ON SUNDAY...and I'm not a Miller fan. We should have photos of that round.

Lol! Seen that one too and I don't think he did hit the hole from 2 feet. Maybe 1 1/2 feet!

Guess that's why he knows what it's like to choke!

Saw him in early 90s for a clinic though hitting a 7 wood out of a half buried lie and a driver left hand only 260 yards. Great skills for ball striking, didn't give a putting clinic though...
