I'm watching her on Golf Channel right now. Its painfully obvious how and why she may be the next instructor... and it is not because of technical knowledge of the golf swing. I would wager her knowledge is no more than John Q. PGA club pro. Her tips and analysis are easily found in any issue of Golf Digest. Basic run of the mill cookie cutter teaching...nothing more. What's sad is I know with certainty there are far more knowledgeable and talented teachers that will never get a shot at being on television.

There are faces for radio and bodies for television. Not having seen her since the Kessler "Perfect Club" deal, I'm guessing she qualified under the latter.

If the Golf Channel is smart they will pair her with Kelly Tilghman. At the end of every episode they can have a swing argument that ends with wrestling. Ratings thru the roof, which must be their only motivation, obviously they don't care about real game improvement.

When Kelly talked about "latching on" I didn't quite know what she was referring to.

In any case, if Karen wins I'm going to be bored out of mind with a show that is 50%+ on non-golf swing.
