Shafts are timing mechanisms.

So...you need to hit 'em to see which ones work for you.

No real way to do it otherwise, but an outfit like HotSTIX could help.

The kickpoints help to change the condition of the face at impact to help increase or decrease trajectory.

Generally low kickpoint shafts will flight the ball higher and high kickpoint shafts will flight the ball lower.

This is the theory behind the following shafts:

Rifle Flighted
Project X Flighted
Tour Concept

All of the above shafts have their kickpoints manipulated to increase trajectory in long irons and decrease trajectory in short irons.
