Knock the sugar off your arms?

I've watched all of Brians videos on YouTube. Very nicely done. But, there was a feeling Brian mentions of "shake/knock the sugar off of your arms" as you come into impact. I'm guessing this is the point where both arms straighten at the lowpoint of the swing. My problem is, if I try to do that at or after impact with the driver, I see an UGLY slice. Should I toy with the location of that 'feeling' until the ball flies straighter? Or did I misunderstand how it was used?

Sounds like I introduced something that wasn't previously IN your stroke pattern—THROW-OUT ACTION.

Not every pattern has lots of it.

How did you hit it without the "shake"?
