Very cool accomplishment this morning from the LPGA's latest phenom. Her father won the '98 Australian Open in tennis, now she has the Australian Open in Golf.

Very cool. The first time I saw her was in the Womens US Amateur a year or two ago. She's an amazing putter and hits the ball long. Nice to see her get her first win.

Didn't another 16 y/o win on one of the Ladies tours last week? The youth movement seems to be in full swing on that circuit now. Not sure if that's an entirely good thing or not.

Yes... tennis is most certainly a young person's sport ... and the old geezers only play moonball doubles and go to tournaments to watch the girl's bodies contort... and the girls don't disappoint with their skimpy revealing costumes... because sex sells.

Golf seems to be following that same evolution... with the flood of young blood and 30 y.o. is considered past the best before date.
