lagging the sweet spot

I noticed it's easier to use the pivot to lag the sweet spot then using the hand gradually turning to the ground, am i on the right track?

Yep..especially if that pivot thrust is with the upper body too hard and that right shoulder does not move down plane.

when I use my hands to lag the sweetspot, it usually fades even with wedding rings up. And sometimes hit behind the ball, I'm thinking it's because i rotate my hands too early. When i use my body together, it goes straight. However I do feel like I'm swinging extra faster. I also feel like my left shoulder is really up and my head is really down to square the clubface.

I think that it may be a wrist condition issue..meaning.. The left hand/arm flying wedge gets a little to far in front and that may be why you still block/wipe it. Sounds to me that when you think "use my body together" you pivot better and you may stay more "behind" it.

i stay behind it well and the follow through is always the same, and very balanced. When i stay behind the ball with stepping on the left foot and wedding ring up I usually hit a small fade. Not a big deal but it requires a lot of hands manipulation. It could be tiring from hole to hole.

Well if you stay "behind" it well then possibly it is a wrist condition issue. Maybe a better understanding of how the wrist "unhinges", or maybe your grip is a little too weak for you...hard to say Jen it could be a whole host of things, but I bet you'll find it..

I do feel like the midbody setup is hard to have a strong grip, it's uncomfortable for me. I used to shank the ball with neutral grip, but not anymore. :D

no large chest. Well let's put it this way, when i grip it stronger, i tend to have my hands a lil bit forward at setup, somehow it just feels natural to me.

It could be that you aren't holding the club correctly. I don't want you to think that I know what I'm talking about, but..I thought I had a really good grip until Brian showed me what worked for MY hands. Its always something to just double check..huh? With mid-body hands their certainly is a feeling of a slight bit of "tension" in the left wrist a set-up though, especially if you have a gorilla chest like myself.
