Laser trainers

Could anyone suggest any reliable laser trainers for plane tracing, which would also be suitable for use outside? I've visited the bigha site, which has some high quality lasers which would need to be rigged up for golfing use. Any other ideas. Thanks in advance.

Staples

I bought a simple pen laser from Staples (office supplies) and taped it to the shaft of a putter, shooting the laser at the a point just in front of the sweetspot of the face. It's great for tracing the plane of a putting stroke.

Cost $20, labour 5 minutes.

My Favorite is the butch harmon one but i don't think they make them anymore. You'll have to find one at a retailer.

I don't think any laser trainer is good to use outside, most of the time the laser is too thin to really see well. However if you are hitting the ball off of something like a matt, i can see the light.

Go green

If youre working with the lasers outside then you need to go for the green ones. They cost a lot more than the red ones but you can pick them up on ebay from China pretty cheaply. Just watch the eyes as these cheap ones are very powerful.
