Exactly my feelings on teaching period. I say virtually the same thing daily. Well done and welcome to an even greater success formula.

Brian, all ducks do not look the same to other ducks! I can appreciate the claim that everyone/no-one is method teacher, because it is very difficult to differentiate between funtionality and preference/method when the end goal is predetermined and identical, namely good TM numbers. All golfers look the same to non-experts.

I'm assuming that your method for those six years was t g m? Or was it a certain pattern that you selected from g m components?

Whoa...watch your premise. Many method teachers had no such goal of good trackman numbers. Their goal is/was making the golfer pretzel themselves into the pattern.

This blog hits it right on the head. After the privilege of Brian's lesson the other day, the second one I have taken, the teaching he performs is nothing short of incredible. I thought the time spent last year was amazing. This year Brian did immediately transformable work that was quantifiable. Trackman provides indelible proof that what Brian is telling you is working. Plus you get the greatest stories in golf.

What would be cool would be to see a lesson given by Brian (or another competent instructor) with the machine just to see how something like that works compared to traditional instruction.

I've worked with Brian pre-Trackman and post Trackman.

Night and day.

And consider that I felt Brian gave better lessons than any instructor I had seen before he got his Trackman.

Way back in 2006 he was already teaching way ahead of the pack.

It's exponentially better with Trackman.

You couldn't have chosen a more appropriate by-word for your approach. Bravo. All the best in your continued success.

Fair comment db. But good TM numbers = good ball flight, right? And they all wanted a good ball flight for sure. They just thought that the best way to get it was with their method.

White-Grey-Black: everyone is somewhere in between. Aint no 100% method teachers (apart from the occasional dimwitted clown wannabe golf teacher) and there aint no 100% non-method teachers. Well maybe apart from the B-Man....
