I push my drives all the time. In order to cure this fault I was instructed to turn out my left foot 25 to 30 degrees at address.

Is this good or bad advice?

How is your ball flight effected by your left foot position at address?

I believe that will shorten your backswing pivot and shift your plane line left in the downswing........

If this is what needs curing (which is very possible I think) then I think it should help.

Perhaps the Manzella Academy can confirm.

It allows you to turn your hips more open on the downswing which will keep the club from moving to far to the right

Brian says different

I swing too far right, and I was told to square up the left foot to get the weight to the heel by BM.
