Hi guys,
Me again.
I have been pondering the activity or action of the left leg all day since I got off the course. For the past while when I have been working on my swing, I have really tried to stop the "snapping" of the left leg on the downswing, as I did not feel that it was beneficial to my swing.
Towards the end of the round today, I tried to get the feeling of a firmer left side through impact, and I noticed the the ball seemed to have a little more snap on it, and it seemed to fly better than it has been flying. In the past three or four months I have experienced some distance loss, especially with irons, and I dont feel like the ball has been coming off the face with the same speed or flight that it used to.
My question is, what is the role of the left leg through the downswing, and what kind of a position should it be in at impact?
Thanks very much, I love this site!!
