Left Leg

Working to get my right shoulder down plane I was having problems hitting fat. It was then I remembered BM saying to get your left shoulder as far from the ball as possible. So I tried that and it became apparent that my left leg wasn't straight enough at impact.

So, during the downswing transition to impact, when do you move from a bent left leg at the end/top to a straight left leg? Assuming the weight transfers from back to front foot does it transfer to a straight left leg or is the left knee still bent at transfer, then it straightens before impact? Where is the weight at impact on the left foot? Inside of foot, middle of foot?

Thanks, Cliff

Golf ANSWER MAN.....strikes again!

When the right arm straightens in the follow through, but for some, closer to impact.

In the transfer there is PLENTY of left knee bend.

At impact, the weight is on the middle of the left foot (side-to-side) and TOWARD the heel (heel-to-toe).
