He definitely says toe-down and flat wrist in 2.0. But I get your larger point. Toe down is what we are trying to accomplish in this pattern. It's weird, the more and more I learn from NHA 2.0 the more I realize this was how I swung the club in my early twenties and it was my best ball striking years. Upright backswing, soft/cupped wrist toe down, and an OTT move. Of course people "in the know" said good players come from the inside lol. So I started down that path and it turned me into a severe inside/out hopeless flipper who couldn't play a lick.
