Ya pretty much.

Whenever it happens it should be automatic essentially....no active cocking with the wrist muscles really.

what cocks the left wrist for the hitter and the swinger?
Hitter: right hand and arm.
Swinger: inertia of the on-plane moving club.

Accumulator #2 . . . Centrifugal Force, Accumulator #1, the muscles of both forearms, any – or all – are available to actuate this Assembly

I think the OP's question is about cocking in the backswing. So I'm not sure that some of the previous answers are addressing that. For instance, I see no reason a swinger's left wrist needs to cock in the backswing by CF.

Rundmc, is your answer about accumulator #2 for cocking or for releasing?

That ain't my answer that's Mr. K's answer. You could let CF cock your wrist e.g. float loading

10-19-B DOWNSTROKE (OR FLOAT) LOADING This procedure delays the Wristcock until the Start Down and completes it as specified by the Stroke Pattern Assembly Point Component. “Float Loading” also describes this procedure – especially the sensations, because the Cocking motion should not be at all sharp, but gentle, or even lazy.

Or, by CF, you could have a huge waggle which starts pointing to the target and then the CF as it passes the ball (heading to the rear foot) and on into the backswing cocks the left.

From a stationary address, there might be less capability for CF to do any cocking on the backswing.

rundmc, that sequence of Tony Lema is a good (and rare) example of how someone looks when they keep the Tripod to the Finish.

Note Lee Buck holds his hands Vertical to the Inclined Plane longer as a result of his Turned grip and the Swivel back up the Plane is later as a result.

The pictures show the MANZELLA TWIST AWAY &the "perverted axis tilt" so ridiculed by the dark side.

And one great player.
For the record Brian,
Who/what is the dark side?
To me, the "perverted axis tilt" is what happens when you tilt your axis so much that your right shoulder ends up under plane.

Not massively huge on the Twistaway with a driver.....but that's never been my style anyway.

That's a pretty ming swing all in all tho....never seen Tony Lima's swing before.

...

He must've ended up in a reverse-c there tho, no?
