Left wrist & right elbow

I am relatively new to this game and even newer to TGM stuff so I apologise if the question is dumb or really simple.
I have a feeling that my left wrist and right elbow should work in conjunction on the downswing, almost like the right elbow extending causes the left wrist to uncock. Is this a correct interpretation of part of what should be happening during the downswing or am I way off track. It just feels strange when I do it, but the gut feeling is that it is what is supposed to happen. Any advice appreciated.

Jeremy.

That's a big part of tgm: the left wrist cocks and uncocks by movement of the right elbow. Of course, not everyone consciously straightens the right elbow - a hitter who pushes does. But a swinger has help from outward flinging forces.

As far as the 'feeling' who knows what you are feeling but you. However I'd say definitely when you are releasing all your stored up power accumulators there can be a feeling of nothing held back.

Thanks DBL, I was not sure if what I was pursuing or feeling was correct or if I was barking up the wrong tree again. TGM is not well known (if at all) down under so there is noone I can go and see, but I do assume that this movement is common to any good golf swing.
