Brian,

Studying up, If the left wrist goes to uncocked in the followthrough , do I swivel with a wrist that is uncocked or does it go back to level

Thanks in advance,
Papa Joe

Good question Papa Joe!

Brian,

Studying up, If the left wrist goes to uncocked in the followthrough , do I swivel with a wrist that is uncocked or does it go back to level

Thanks in advance,
Papa Joe

It goes all the way back to COCKED by the time of the finish swivel—"normally."

But it doesn't have to. Tom Bartlett used have his level, and Ben Hogan still had his uncocked—at times.

Movie Screen Swivel

So with the "Movie Screen" finish swivel in NSA (assuming: Manzella Neutral Grip) the left wrist is still uncocked at the finish? Or is it level? Or does that depend on the pattern?

Thanks!!

I really want to get this into my pea-sized noggin... so apologies ahead of time.

So the left wrist is cocked during a "movie screen" swivel? Isn't there less strain on the left wrist if it's uncocked for the "movie screen" swivel where the left wrist is still flat?

I thought that the left wrist bends, or appears to bend, during swivel and recock (when the left wrist turns back onto the plane after follow-through), with the amount of bend depending on the grip type (Manzella neutral=less bend; Zach Johnson=lots of bend).

Sorry for being so long-winded, just wanna make sure i got the descriptions correct.

Thanks again!!
