Got up at 445 this morning to go see Brian in Ann Arbor.
Spent about 45 minutes in the short game area and hit a small bucket of balls to warm up.
All I can say is a lesson with Brian was a great experience.
Trackman is intimidating at first but after a while it is amazing.

Right now I am sitting here re-watching my lesson video and I am shocked at how much stuff I missed.
Looking forward to working on the stuff he gave me.

Thanks again Brian!

If you get a chance to go see Brian do yourself a favor and go. Even if you have to get up at 445.

Darnit,

I saw Brian last year in Ann Arbor and tried to get a time with him this year as well. Guess his popularity is making him more in demand and harder to get in touch with. Ah well maybe next year.

When track man was saying "deg" where you wondering what you where digging? :D
that computer is the fastest way to make a change I have ever experianced. I must add that I have only used it with Brian who is an expert in it's use.

That's what I thought Rick.
I had a lesson yesterday and also got a chance to try out a K Vest. (Thanks Will!) I got my top of the backswing hips and shoulders turn and impact hips and shoulders numbers. It was a real eye opener for me because it was the first time I ever got to compare my swing to a tour player swing (sort of).

Again, thanks for your help Will and for being a fine host. You have an awesome learning center.

Brian, I need a lesson review video.

Matt

Watched my entire lesson again before going to bed last night. We worked nearly the entire time on getting less downward angle of attack and increasing my VSP. I need to write down the 20 things Brian had me trying to do in order to achieve it. The "dig" part got to be way funnier than it needed to be for sure. My hope is that Brian had as much fun teaching as I did learning. His enthusiasm for figuring stuff out is amazing. Already planning to make a trip to Louisville to see him for a couple of hours. The hour flew by and had me wishing I would have taken a two hour lesson.
I want to go to the range today. And I never "want" to go to the range.

After watching it a bit more I am wondering about how the possibility of my standing slightly too far from the ball might effect these numbers? I have my ideas but from my past experience they are likely wrong. lol

Now I also really want a camera like Brian uses. Guess what Santa will be bringing for me?
Casio FH25.

the casio ex fc150 is just as good and fits in your pocket or the pocket of your golf bag. I have the FH25 and the fc100 and I always use the fc100,plus it was way cheaper.

COOL! The fc150 looks like exactly what I need.

Another update. Playing a short par five last night hit my drive under a pine tree and had to chip out. Figuring 160 to the flag out of the light rough. Holed out a 9 iron for eagle. Brian will be glad to hear it was a slight fade. Funny game.
