Let's talk shoulders

Apologies in advance, I know this topic is discussed often. I have done my homework, but have had difficulty getting anything to work.

I think, more than anything the movements of my shoulders through the swing are hindering my improvement. I don't have the ability at this time to post a video to illustrate, but the videos I have of my swing show my head dipping down just prior to impact then moving forward and up as I swing through the ball(looks like I am tracing the letter 'J'). Also, as I have posted before, I tend to get onto my toes during the swing.

Now that I am trying to incorporate TGM principles into my swing, ie. aiming my hands farther forward, flat left/bent right, maintaining pps etc...this movement of my head is exagerated. I feel as though I am reaching to achieve the desired impact position.

Some possible reasons that have been pointed out to me include: too much hip slide/axis tilt, collapsing of my rear leg, and spinning out w/ my shoulders(not sure what this means, assuming too much around, not enough up/down)

When I make a concerted effort to turn my shoulders more steeply, it is very uncomfortable. As I am fairly flexible, I am hoping that there are other changes that need to be made along with the new shoulder plane to allow me to comfortably make this move through the ball.

Another symptom of my problem is that I tend to lose right arm early in the swing(straightening) and lose right wedge both trying to get my hands past the ball before the clubhead.

Sorry for the long post, but I am always amazed at how many swing flaws are a result of one or two core issues. I wanted to list as many aspects as I could so that the experts might be able to find a pattern to my flaws.

A key for me that really helped my soulder work was, my Foot and leg work. Everything is connected, attached to one another, when i started understanding foot work, things came together, also i now understand the swing starting from the ground up.

So cdog, what did you learn about footwork that made the biggest improvements in the rest of your swing? Please describe specific changes you made and the improvements that followed.

The movement or lack of movement affects the legs, hips, which in turn affect the spine shoulders. Pressure in the bottom of the feet also can tell us about balance, rhythm.

Watch the pro's, good ball strikers, watch their feet, study their movements, how the legs/knees, hips are affected.

Here is the pressure i feel, lead heel-rear toe; rear heel-lead toe; lead heel-rear toe.
