Little help with my swing

Looking for a little help with my golf progression. I've been working my tail off for almost 2 years now and the lower my handicap gets the less enjoyment I get out of this game. I guess I'm just too competitive and expect to hit crisp shots all the time but it's not happening as regularly as I would like. I regularly shoot in the 70s but I want to take my ball striking to the next level so feel free to critique these videos.

I just got back from New Orleans about a month ago from seeing Brian and it really helped a lot from what I took with me originally. I highly recommend making a trip as it is well worth the money. When I went to see him I had the club very laid off and swung way too much right and took very little to no divot. With Brians instruction I was able to hit the ball a lot more solid as long as he lined me up. So I guess my alignment is still a work in progress. So with that being said I still have some of my old swing creep up from time to time and personally I would like a little more down in my swing but I'm not exactly sure where to get it from.

Also my practice time has been very frustrating as I have been battling shanks something fierce. Oddly they only affect me on the practice tee and I never take it to the course. I notice from my video I have a lean over the ball that I have been working to correct and I think that contributes to some degree but I also know that I still can shank it when my pivot is solid. So take a look at the video and help me rid myself of this disease. I'm too decent a golfer to be frustrated by something I never did when I couldn't bust 100.

Looks like you come off the 'tush line' and your head moves laterally ballward on the backswing.

As for the shanks, try to be a little more 'zen' than mechanical. Try to really sense that the sweet spot is not at the end of the shaft you are holding in your hands. It extends 1-2 inches off the shaft. Try to "fit in" the sweet spot. Make sure you are not subconsciously feeling the tip of the shaft as the sweet spot.- get it?

Oh, and throw in a little left wrist cock right at transition down, just for kicks.

Yes. But my worry is that the head moves right, down the target line, in the downsing. It looks to me like your effort to not flip and to have extension through impact is leading you to lunge a little. This would also explain shanks.

Add and maintain some axis tilt THROUGH impact. Make your arms pull your head up. Think of that part of NSA where Brian is mashing on Adam's face.

Nice swing.

If I were you I'd take a video of you actually hitting a ball at a target on a golf course. Just swinging at grass in a park may not be the same swing, now what I mean. JMHO

PS I like your dog, he looks cool
