Welcome to my neck of the woods:) Too bad I couldn't join you guys. Have fun; it's gorgeous out there today!

Brian,

TONS of follow-up questions and clarifications for you before I really work on the "drills" you gave me. Should I wait for a post-lesson recap before I fire away?

Follow Up

Brian,

After the lesson I hit balls down at the other end of the range and really began to get comfortable with the change. The results were very good with feelings through impact that I've never experienced before.

Thanks Brian

I just have to say as someone who has played for quite a while and taken many a lesson from the famous and not so famous my lesson with Brian was the best I have ever had. I know it's only one hour, but since my lesson, the good shots that I hit have a sound and flight that I am completly unfamiliar with. When I do it right, the impact is both much more powerful and comes with what feels like 1/2 the effort. So if there are any of you out there wondering if it's worth the money, or the drive or whatever else, do yourself a favor and see Brian in person; he is one of the most knowledgable and at the same time most personable people I have ever met. You will definitely leave a better golfer and have a better understanding of your swing. So thanks again Brian, can't wait till next time!

Time in the Archives

I took a taxi one summer from Detroit to Ann Arbor for a session at the University. My driver had wooden “elevators” attached to the brake pedal and accelerator so he could reach them and an array of radar detectors mounted on the GM sedan’s dash and windshield. A constant stream of music at high volume came from the radio and we moved, as Cash would say, “in our speed of lightning car.” There was a light but steady rain and I was apprehensive. Trying to settle the nerves, I glanced out and there in the other lane with the setting sun behind, was a sliver blue 900S Saab. The driver smiled and nodded. For a moment we were connected. Eventually I had me one of those Saabs, which now belongs to my daughter. She called today about a part that had to be replaced and that rainy afternoon ride was remembered. Later while in the archives I found this post. One morning during that time of persimmon heads and prior to playing the University course , I hit balls with a driver available at the range, that had a metal head. Something good was sensed, and possibly the realization of things to come. Seems like yesterday, especially when I search the left rough. The ball seemed to fly longer then :).
