Is there any real benefit to that?

I think there's some.
Let's say he's on a 220 yard par-3 where he needs the ball to stop pretty well and can't land it too short. If he's hitting an 8 or 9-iron, sure beats me using a 3-iron.

So what's in Jamie's bag? Driver, putter,??? I imagine he has some serious gapping issues with his wedges. Is he gripping down to the steel with his LW for a 100 yd shot?
He has a full set. He just swings shorter and easier. When you think about it, it's no different than us hitting shots inside 100 yards.
He shoots ... he scores ....!!!! Jamie was/is a pro hockey player .... they all hit long.
He could prolly beat most of us here carrying a driver and lob wedge ... and putt with the leading edge of the lob wedge too ....![]()
Junior hockey player, not pro. You must be short of potassium, eat another bananaaaa. lol.![]()
I thot that junior hockey players in Canada got paid for their services..
Hey ... potassium is for leg cramps .. not brain cramps ... eat plenty of catfish for brain food and golf smarts ...![]()
Their still considered junior player's if they play in a junior hockey league. He never played pro hockey. Banana's and catfish yummy.![]()
Jamie shoots left when playing hockey.
Anyone can confirm this?
