Low VSP question for anyone

In the process of straightening my hook out I have gotten my path more of less straight but I have a low VSP and very little if any downward strike (like 0 degrees down). I know I have more handle drag left than ever before but how do I get some more down in my swing without getting too inside out with the path. Swnging more and more left does not get me any more downward strike. Any thoughts?

Thanks Kevin. Could you be a little more explicit as I am not sure I understand what you mean. I may have some video to put up soon to see what everyone thinks.
