maintain left wrist cock thru impact

Mark Everershed says to cock the left thumb up on the backswing, and keep it up thru impact. He calls it "on plane arms". It resembles or feels like a two-handed tennis backhand stroke. It has an over-the top feel to me, but when I drop my arms before unwinding my "quiet body", I get some real explosive shots, the kind where the concussion of impact hurts your feet. What to make of this weird feel where at followthru, the shaft is tilted, right wrist remaining bent thru-out?

Sounds like Arnold Palmer's follow thru...

ME can't be saying that the left wrist is still fully cocked at impact. He means uncocked back to #3 accumulator condition at impact. The thumb comment sounds like single wrist action and the vertical left wrist at impact. Only the right forearm is on plane at impact, unless #3 is zeroed out, either at address or before impact.
