The Brian Manzella Golf Academy is proud to announce the addition of our 20th Certified Instructor, Shaun Webb.

Shaun is currently the Director of Instruction at 265, The new 60 acre, state-of-the-art David Toms Golf Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana.

A member of the PGA of America, Webb is originally from Stonington, Maine, and is a K-Vest Advisory Board member and is a TPI Golf certified instructor.

He was the bio-mechanics instructor and a certified coach for the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy. While there, Shaun worked with elite juniors and some of the top professional golfers in the world, including the #1 women’s player in the world, Yani Tseng, PGA tour players Peter Hanson and Morgan Hoffman, and over 20 other PGA and LPGA tour professionals. Shaun has also coached nationally-ranked junior players who have won tournaments on the national junior level (American Junior Golf Association), several of which have received full golf scholarships to Division 1 universities.

Most recently, Shaun has operated his own golf academy out of Orange County National in Orlando, Florida where he taught along side good friend Sean Foley, the famous Core Academy instructor from Canada.

One of Shaun's students, Canadian PGA Tour Player Jesse Smith, played in the 2013 US Open at Merion.

Shaun has been around our group for quite a while now and we are all thrilled to officially add him to the finest golf instruction group in the
business.

Hey Shaun, is this you and Jesse working at Merion?

Without a 2D proof, some folks won't believe you were there.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- FlightScope would like to congratulate Jesse Smith for qualifying for the U.S. Open. Jesse has been working on his game with Flightscope Certified Instructor, Shaun Webb, over the last few months.
"Jesse obviously already was a great player but helping him understand a few key numbers, specifically angle of attack, was important if he was going to get the most out of his full swing," explained, coach, Shaun Webb. Webb continued, "When he first came to me his 5 iron angle of attack was steep with an average of -10.6. Within a few FlightScope sessions we were able to bring his average to -4.2 which is a much more playable number and allows him to hit the ball more consistently and powerfully. Without the help of FlightScope I would not have been able to help him improve this very important aspect of his full swing."
This week, June 13-16, Jesse is playing in the 113th U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club where he has a shot of realizing any golfer's dream, winning a Major!
FlightScope wishes Jesse the best luck.
