Great Question, which leads me to a POST KATRINA Manzella Update:
For those who didn't know, I live in New Orleans, in great part of town that, unfortunately was about 300 yards from the major levee break that flooded the city and made world headline news. We lost everything, as we had 12 feet of water and have 9-foot ceilings. All of our family made it out of harms way. The rest is just stuff.
My beautiful wife Lisa and I moved into her parent’s home in Reserve, Louisiana. It is 35 miles west of New Orleans and was high and dry in the storm. Some guys would dread 'living with the in-laws,' but for me, it's great because I have the greatest in-laws of all time. Another good point: 35 miles closer to Tiger Stadium!
We hope to rebuild on our same lot in the now infamous Lakeview section of New Orleans. But, we have to wait for insurance, politics, levee repair, and who knows what else.
Thanks to the unbelievable generosity of several forum members and dear friends and family, we were able to replace our computer/audio/video set-up and as of yesterday, is finally fully functional.
I will start to record podcasts and audio answers, and work on the three videos (Never Slice Again. Do It Right & Beginner Class) that were to be released around December 1, but the footage went down in the great flood of '05. The videos will be reshot soon in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
I will start some exciting new projects in the next couple of weeks. I will be doing reporting for "N.O. TV," a travel information station in the Crescent City, at first focusing on the recovery of our great city.
I will also start to film a new golf show for the Myrtle Beach area and will completely redo my website, with a very professional fit and finish and functionality.
When the videos 'go to market," I will then start on the books to accompany them, the first being Never Slice Again!
Thanks to all of you for your patronage, friendship and well wishes.
Brian
